Technical Support
lowRISC® provides paid-for technical support on the usage and integration of all the products covered on this website, such as the Ibex® CPU and the OpenTitan® root of trust. We believe that the availability of technical support is essential for silicon vendors to confidently adopt any hardware IP, including our open-source designs.
Typically a technical support engagement involves access to one of our senior engineers or technical leads for a pre-committed number of hours, during which they can participate in video calls and prepare written answers to your technical questions.

Support for third-party products
At lowRISC we have contributed to open-source projects run by other organisations, and can use our expertise to offer technical support for them.
We can support customers integrating these designs in their SoCs and developing software for them. We also offer custom engineering design and verification around them

Security certification
Achieving security certification is a complex task that requires, from the silicon vendor, a deep understanding of the hardware, including both digital and analog IP, software and lifecycle management.
In our role as OpenTitan project stewards we have helped our partners get their products ready for certification by guiding them in the implementation of security features, and preparing the relevant documentation. This documentation is available to all OpenTitan members, but dedicated support for certification requires an engineering consultancy engagement.
lowRISC is not a cybersecurity lab and does not offer certification services. However, we have established partnerships with companies that do offer these services, and have an in-depth understanding of what is required to get a design certified.
